Ok I am back totally knackered
Good day and thanks to all the organisers and event staff. having put on games I know how hard it is and people who have never put on a game don`t understand the hours put in on the day and before hand so thanks again.
Good time was had by my crew the first timer is now hooked so that will be plus one for the hobby.
Kit great from all, game play good but we were outnumbered by the allies which made it a slog all day attacking.
What a fight to get to the village well done Allies for putting up such a stout defence all day. My helmet has several dinks in it from a British Rifleman so you know who you are great shooting
Best bits.
My charge to the fuel dump getting shot once I got there and cleared it out then my SS Comerade with the gas mauser shooting the Brit who shot me at some range in the head. From this day forward he is to be known as dead eye Rickard
2nd best bit having tried and tried killed and killed to get the bridge cleared, we were on the point of giving up not being able to cross because of the mines when 2 plucky Brit Paras ran onto the bridge full of joy Stens blazing only to be told by the marshalls they had set the mines off. Voila Bridge now free of mines
Great to see faces Old and New.
I enjoyed it also, I thought we had done well in the allied contingement. Totally knackered and suffering from shell shock from all those nasty German grenades. Thanks to all, organisers and soldiers of all sides.

Hi all
Great day & some good hard slogging all day so well done to Steve, doc & staff at combat south.
I am glad to say my first timer also wants to come again so that's a bonus.
for me the shit part was Booby-trapping the front bridge with tripwires & electronic maroons only for the bloody Germans to not even attempt to try & enter the village over it.
Three very good parts were firing my mortar at a Jerry that was hiding behind a tree only to see the round bounce around in the tree & then drop by his feet (yes 1-0 to me)
The second was keeping Jerry from entering the village from bakers crossing with my best friend Mr mortar but inevitably it got to bloody hot to handle.
Last of all it made me laugh to see some Germans trip one of my booby-traps from the village side of the bridge killing himself & one other.
at the end of the day I had to laugh as I didn't remove the booby-traps so when the Marshall moved all the obstacles from the front bridge you can guess what happened..
Cheers to everyone for a good day
Pete.
So sorry I missed this one but my car died on route (fatally ) sorry to let everybody down.

Give me a big enough hammer and a place to stand and I could fix the world.
i'll kill a man in a fair fight or if i think he's going to start a fair fight or over a woman or.......
a problem shared is a problem halved ,but an advantage shared is no advantage at all
if a job's not worth doing then its certainly not worth doing well
Thanks to the organisers - a well-run event. Nice to meet some new southern airsofters. Hope to see you at a few events next year too.
Ooh, can someone design a medal ribbon please?
You've got nothing to ein, zwei, drei, vier
Really good airsoft and Thanks to Combat south for hosting this event . I think I'm hooked .
Thanks to all who turned out for the event and made it a good day for all
Sorry but I go to every game with my camcorder but I always get engrossed in the game when my adrenaline starts to flow & forget to turn the bloody thing on.
Maybe I should try & find one that will turn itself on probably at the same time as I will see a pig fly.
Thank you all , players and organisers for the excellent game , played in the true spirit of our hobby .

Really great day still shattered enjoyed myself greatly and good to see some of the lads again some old faces and some new.
I don't know how I was able to cope in that jerkin all day but in the end it worked really well with my commando loadout.
Also great pictures in the thread nice that you got my good side.
Really enjoyed the day. Here's a few snaps from my phone
And a few more
To echo the others, big thanks to Steve, Doc and the Combat South crew for putting on Saturday's event. I had to leave early so unfortunately missed the final push on St Vith, but enjoyed the mornings action - great to play alongside familiar faces as well as meeting new folk. Have a great festive season all and will see you in the field in the new year!
On Behalf of my self and the team at Combat South I would like to thank you all for your attendance . I enjoyed seeing you all have such a fun day. The weather was kind to us and the game play and scenarios worked out as well as I hoped they would.
I look forward to seeing you back down here for some other games in the new year.
With festive wishes to you all
Doc Combat South .
Just a few more photos
Can only agree with all the comments made, big thanks to all involved. The organisers put on another great game, after 'Aachen' in Feb I knew it wouldn't be a disappointment.
Pleasure playing alongside and against all involved, great game play as ever.
Cheers to all the allied players for some great banter and camaraderie.
Already looking forward to the next one
Cheers Phil
Many thanks to the combat south guys and everyone involved with organizing . Had great fun being the bad guys for a change . Really enjoyable day even after a few gun problems.
