I've got the start of a Chasseurs Ardennes impression based on a SD tunic. Definitely a decent match.

If you ever decided to go down that route (everyone's queing up to do a Belgian impression!) the leather leggings are an absolute ball ache to cobble together.

I thought I'd just leave this here, it's more or less a generic outline of a Belgian soldier of the early war period.

Picture credits to whoever they are due.-- attachment is not available --

who was that supplier which recently was posted for discount jackboots? They had black leather leggings if I remember correctly.

I posted the jack boots, I look on their site quite often and I believe the black leather leggings you're referring to aren't too expensive either.

Word of warning on these, they're rather small, I got some with a view to use them as SNLF leather leggings. Ordered the largest they had and didn't come close to my 39cm calfs, if you're planning on carving them up though they might just do the job.

I've fired a bullet on every continent. Nearly hit someone, too.

Ah, that's a shame.

The Belgian leggings seem like they'd be easy enough to make from some leather.

Drove me to drink when I tried to make them, then again I'm not exactly proficient in tailoring. :)
