Thankyou all (but especially those that organised it) for another great days airsofting. Excellent scenarios immersive and enjoyable.
Great fun. And good playing too by everyone..
Seconded Paulette, amazing day thank you all.
Great day as usual. Thanks for top organisation to Chris and the 34th.
Somehow the GJs developed a special relationship with the Brits. Every encounter with them ended in a blood bath unfortunate for the GJs. But we did get our revenge
Best mission of the day: having to sneak to the station directly next to the Allied HQ and retrieve documents without any enemy engagement - the elite force was able to report back successfully.

well that mission was added just for you guys, knowing how you like the sneaky beaky ones The brits got a nice brew mission, matt should have got to build something , we got to blow ourselves or allies up, though for once we did not lol we left that for you guys this time
Thanks, to everyone that made it, cracking day with no moans again and played well some great moments, and we did not kill a single ally at all (maybe a first) (cough brits did though ) ( and of course when we say brits we mean ED )
Good to see some new players and totally getting what we do
if you have any photos feel free to post until we get some from Pedro
Also thanks to everyone for helping to take out and bring back props:)
Ache all over, but well worth it, and nice to get the great coats etc out, which makes want to add how great everyone looked and great kit levels, have to love the German cold weather gear
and lastly well done to who spotted us, as 5 of us laid low in the bushes for 20 minutes to ambush a zug, but then 2 came at once and saw us, and let's say it did not end well for us
and I Promise the Pacific weekender will be put up soon
Banzai!
I had a great day engaged every allied squad except the Brits who kept running away. Our supply run with all 3 zugs was the most successful mission of the day, I think the allies were sleeping
except the Brits who kept running away.
Er, not running away, it was, er, tactical redeployment...
Another great day, thanks to all.
Cheers
Charlie
I have a small skewer hidden in the collar of my jumping jacket, and a razorblade in my gaiter, as well as my knife.

we were behind you for a bit letting you all go ahead so we could blow some stuff up safely (well as safe as can be with us and pyro lol ) though it was very quiet and ominous at that time lol
and as it was such a long trek for that one thought safety in numbers for you lol and did not want a zug going missing up that far and scaring the painters
Thanks Chris, Martin and the 34th for an amazing day. Thanks to my fellow Brits for putting on a good show. We didn't receive a single casualty all morning though that was ruined by the afternoon. Was brilliant running into the GebirgsjΓ€ger zug all day, they seemed to be everywhere we went.
I agree with Charlie, we didn't run away it was tactical redeployment
Several highlights of the day. Carrying Hans the german prisoner with his arms falling off, wiping out the gebirgsjΓ€ger zug twice, crawling on my belly right up to the German base at the end of the day without being spotted and us taking out an SS zug after setting off explosives with another zug incoming and ploughing straight though the bush in retreat. Very fun day. Also loved Charlie and Ed cooking lukewarm soup
Tally ho!
Regards,
Ralph
Absolutely loved it, was such a great day as per usual.
Best bit for me was the Commando mission (although we did keep our pants on). Was great to use just pistols and grenades to take out the Zug holding the Farm house.
Photos will soon be finished and uploaded to: https://www.facebook.com/theairsoftproject/ so jump over and like the page to get notified when they are uploaded.
Many Thanks
Pedro, there are some awesome pics there mate, is it ok to download them and put them on my f/b?
yes just give credit to him or link to his page etc
A great day out, and cold is always good for avoiding getting very sweaty. Many thanks to Chris and Martin for putting it on, to our small but perfectly formed GJ squad for for uncomplainingly trudging around all day, the rest of our German comrades for their excellent cooperation and teamwork, and finally our plucky and gallant opponents for putting up a good fight all day.
Particular shouts for the British section who wiped us out twice, also the pistol toting Yank squad who obliterated us their their pistols. I did enjoy sneaking around an d stealing things and blowing stuff up, but the reverse ambush was great fun too. The real highlight was clearing hte minefield under fire. Those little mines are really, really hard to find with the detector
Great pics form Pedro, mine don't really compare, but here are a few of the GJ on patrol. We decided ot have an impromptu flag raising ceremony at the supply base, which was a nice way of passing the time
I have enjoyed every single one of the 34th January games, a great way to blow off the cobwebs, keep it up!
Cheers
Martin

cool always love seeing things from the other side (dark side ) and good photos, I have to admit you guys looked great, was a bit jelly that my uniform was just on the German prisoner, I really must get to wear it again this year
I had a major panic with a flag shortage, no idea where they have gone, I guess some yank ones gone into my cold war stuff, so going to order a bulk load of flags next week to cover all the games
and the pistols and grenade only mission, was a blast for us and maybe the one true mission we did really well, as was bit scary after each shot not knowing if you get another shot off before it died or vented, after we had taken yours and stuts squad during it, we had to run back to HQ with not one of us with a working gun we were shattered and sweating like crazy when we got back.

We had the same thing trying to get back with no contact after stealing the intel from right next to your HQ(!). Real tense and sweaty stuff. Brilliant.

What another great fun packed day thanks Chris and tin
Well it all started so well our first mission we had to check 3 locations for enemy troops and report back unscathed and that ran very smooth
Our next mission was to take out 3 anti aircraft guns which didn't run as smooth with us having to complete our mission having to leave a few of our squad behind in order to take out the last gun
Then our third mission turned into mission impossible our mission was to search and destroy 2 enemy mortar trenches in the trench situated in front of the enemy base. The first attempt we got spotted and got wiped out by 2 zugs, the second attempt we got spotted but we was fortunate to have the Brits to our left flank , but that fortune didn't last long as 3 zugs closed in from all directions and wiped out us and the Brits
The third attempt we got wiped out by 2 zugs yet again, but we didn't give up 4th time lucky we completed it with very little contact and boy was we relieved
The level of kit was good and so was the gameplay from both sides roll on the next one
Thanks to Chris, Martin and the rest of the 34th for another great day, and a mention is dispatches to fellow GJ Lutz and John and our glorious unteroffizier Martin
