Hello everyone,

I purchases a new MP44, that came firing only at 230fps, the standard barrel is a crap, the inside is low quality and even can see dark patches which could be rust.
So I I'm going to upgrade with an M105 spring and a better barrel. Whilst taking the gun apart a spring came out of somewhere, and unfortunately I did not see where it came from.

Any help would be appreciated.-- attachment is not available --

It looks like the spring that sits over the barrel against the hop unit, to keep the hop into the nozzle location. I can't tell properly, needs to be in context with the weapon.
I've just put a tight bore barrel into my stg44, 6.03 @ 455mm made by nuprol, ....made a difference! I also changed the whole gearbox sometime ago with a specna M4 gearbox, mated to a airsoft pro hop unit.

Or....have you taken apart the mag release? There is a similar spring in that section.

Thanks lord Elpus, no its not the mag release spring. Thanks for the hop up spring suggestions. Do you know of any schematics for this rifle? Would it help if I took some more photo's ( you mention in context with the weapon ) ?

That looks like the spring of the motor shaft to me ,although that photo does not give much indication of scale

Yes Dave, more photo's would help, I can't seem to work out how to put pic's up anymore on this site! Kingmaker could be right about motor spring.... if you have removed the motor from the gearbox!
There's not many springs like that in the MP44, so we must be able to pinpoint it, I will check on one of mine. Meanwhile more photo's of parts with spring in context.

Hello everyone,

Sorry for the very late reply, but I've been very busy and only just got around to finding time to sort my MP44 out.

It is not the spring from the motor shaft, nor is it the spring from the mag release button. I think now it is definitely the spring that sits over the barrel. I never did find any schematics for this rifle!
