http://www.wgcshop.com/

I'm considering ordering a TM Thompson from the above shop/website and was wondering if anyone else has used them in the past? I've heard good and bad reports of ordering from abroad, but given the potential savings I'm considering it.

Cheers.

I've used them several times and they have always been great.

Used them too with the same results as above. mostly good but the occasional "out of stock" after ordering. The other one I've used with great results is http://www.redwolfairsoft.com

never had any problems with those

Cheers for the replies guys. Looks like a nice shiny Thompson will be winging it's way to me soon and with the savings I'll be able to grab a pistol too. :D

I've used WGC loads of times and not had many problems. That said if you don't specify you want it to go via EMS speedpost then they might send it via UPS, which would be bad if you're getting AEG's or other gun shaped objects sent.

Ah, are UPS not hot on AEGs? I used to UPS for all my hockey kit when I was shipping from Canada. Is EMS the local service that then passes it on to Royal Mail?

Cheers

I've used UPS once and it took 4 weeks to get my kit from them. 5 days to get into the country and another 4 to get from UPS to my house.

WGC shop and EMS on the other hand; ordered on Monday night, arrived Thursday morning, so I was pretty chuffed with that.

Excellent, thanks for the info - I was going to specify UPS, will go down the EMS route now methinks.

If buying an AEG like a Thompson then personally I'd just go to a UK seller. After all the hassle with import duty it will work out the same and you will have a guarantee!

Now the plug for a friend of mine. Give Dave a ring at http://www.airsoftskirmish.co.uk :) Hmmm, the site appears to be down right now... hopefully temporarily!
